Las Vegas Vacations

Las Vegas Strip

Start your quest for Las Vegas Vacations by finding the best deals on airfare. If you intend to stay over a long weekend, choose a package with a Saturday departure and Monday return.  This will likely be a much better deal than a package with the more traditional Friday departure and Sunday return. For longer stays, choosing a package without expensive Friday and Saturday night hotel stays may significantly reduce the overall cost of your vacation.

For the best experience on the Vegas Strip for your dollar, plan on staying at the Augustus Tower at Caesar's Palace.  This newly constructed hotel tower offers the best in price, convenience, luxury and entertainment. Stay in beautifully appointed, spacious rooms with jetted tubs, large showers and marble-lined bathrooms. Many rooms have a great view of the Strip and Bellagio fountain next door. Caesar's offers the best variety in gaming, entertainment (Cher & Bette Midler as of Spring 2009), in addition to fabulous designer-label shopping and top of the line restaurants (Hyakumi & Bradley Ogden). Also be sure to make time for Qua (Spa & Fitness facilities) on the Mezzanine.

For longer stays in Nevada, consider renting a car and exploring Hoover Dam (approximately 30 miles from Vegas), and road trips to Grand Canyon, AZ (approximately a 4 hour drive). While at the Grand Canyon, El Tovar Hotel -  a historic landmark on the canyon's edge, provides cozy accomodations for overnight visitors. Please be aware that the canyon gets cold at night (down to 40F), so remember to pack some warm clothes!
